Lilac Floral

As far as I remember, Lilac Floral is my only pattern made under duress. I'm exaggerating, of course, but only a little. For years, I didn't have a pattern in a purple colorway, and something I learned very quickly is that people who love purple, love purple with intensity. After many, many requests for a purple pattern, I re-colored Countryside Blooms with all different purple shades to create Lilac Floral. I had always struggled with making a purple print, since I don't love true purple shades myself, so re-coloring an existing print was the only way I could figure out how to make it happen. Many people think that a lot of my patterns are the same drawing in different colors, but Lilac Floral is the only pattern that is currently true for. Even Waterfall Floral is a different drawing, though it looks like it could be twins with Lilac & Countryside!
