Green gingham was first conceived of during the Atlanta Market in 2025. Jordyn and I were both super excited about gingham becoming more trendy and I was wondering if we should do a black and white gingham as a core EBD pattern. Black felt really harsh next to our other designs though, and I always had a gap in the rainbow of EBD patterns when it came to green, so it felt like the perfect color to fulfill our gingham dreams. Green gingham was one of the first times I gave myself permission to print a pattern that was geometric and not exactly “my art”, even though I still made the pattern myself. I love how it turned out, and love even more that it can mix and match so well with my other designs. It was sort of happy accident that it pairs SO perfectly with Strawberry Patch, and I am obsessed with the sweet summery vibes they create together!
