Summer Meadows

Summer Meadows started as, believe it or not, a design I wanted to make into a silk scarf. I still haven't made silk scarves of any kind, even though I have always wanted to! I started drawing Summer Meadows on my iPad and decided that I'd actually really love to paint it on a canvas too. The process of painting that canvas became my most viral TikTok, garnering over 5 million views with a voiceover about my decision to pursue my art business over becoming a lawyer after I graduated from law school. The video was a big part of putting EBD on the map, I think because it enticed viewers to follow and see if this bold (possibly stupid-sounding) move on my part was about to be a huge mistake. Thankfully, Summer Meadows resonated enough with my customers to become my most popular print for a long while, and also the favorite of my then-only full-time employee, Jordyn. This design helped me sell out planners and notebooks year after year, and eventually becoming a huge hit on my card wallets, so much so that I couldn't keep them in stock. Made in 2021, Summer Meadows has seen the absolute explosion of EBD as a business, and I can't believe that I have now created enough new prints that my customers and I both love so as to eclipse this long-time best-seller.
